Symbols in our Dreams

I have recently started practicing Dream Interpretation and have been surprised at how closely the symbolism of dreams can match what we subconsciously think of what we consider our 'real' life when I use myself as as an interpreter and don't use sources like dream dictionaries.

Today I used the same symbolism someone used to explain his thoughts in the Spiritual Development forum to explain my thoughts on the same subject. Symbolism can be used to mean anything since a symbol doesn't have to match direct correlation to its source but makes sense when matching its place within the whole story.

Makes me wonder if it's further proof that what we consider the 'real life' is just a dream in the mind of Man and waking up to God in self-realization in 'real life' is a form of lucid dreaming. Maybe there are different levels of consciousness and death in one level means waking up to consciousness in another level. So, this might mean that there really is a conscious life after the end of this 'real' life. But since most of us dont remember our dreams for long after waking up, neither does the consciousness at the end of this life. This might imply the truth of reincarnation where we forget our past lives.

What are your opinions folks?

Dreams are of the Consciousness , the Subconsciousness , and the Super-Consciousness ; all depending on the daily activities and unfolding nature of the Soul.

Dreams: Your Magic Mirror by Elsie Sechrist and The Edgar Cayce Companion by B. Ernest Frejer are two valuable resources when studying dreams ~

Dreams provide an important pathway to the discernment of reality. When it comes to subconscious and consciousness, one is always whole and one is fragmented, but that doesn't mean that there are two. Everything is one and everything is connected.
