Marriage and a funeral?

Can someone tell me what they think of this. I had a dream that was very real. This has only happened one other time in my life.

In my dream I was asked by someone to marry them. It was amazing. I had a crush on this person in RL for quite some time but never ever thought it would end up in a marriage. I remember thinking in the dream that I had discounted his love for me and was completely blown away at the fact that he was thinking I would be someone he would ask to marry.

Later, I saw him looking down at me and just weeping. He was standing there holding some purple flowers. He was crying endlessly. I soon thought to wonder if the blurry image and the darkness around the edges were because I had died and was looking down on him at my funeral.

Of course this gives me the creeps but could it mean something else?

I don't see how it would be possible to know whether the dream means something or just a random story created by the mind.

Death in dreams rarely means actual death. It is usually a transition to something else. This said, this almost feels like a past life remembrance. I wonder if it is possible the reason this guy isn't approaching you is he fears losing you. Maybe he lost you or lost someone else in a past life and is now afraid to show his true feelings for fear of being hurt and losing his loved one again. Do you talk to this person much? Is it just a crush from afar or has he shown interest in you on some level? In any event, if you do get involved it may be important for you to know he has this fear and/or hurt from the past about losing a loved one. It could affect the relationship.
