Last night/this morning's experience
Hi everyone.
I would love some comments on my recent experience please.
Last night I was dreaming. I don't remember the dream very well, though I did remember it when I first woke from it. What I do remember was a four letter word that is not part of my regular vocabulary, a vulgar, demeaning word for part of the female anatomy. Then I was awake and I knew it. I didn't open my eyes or move. I felt mild vibrations and knew what that meant. But I also felt a really wild, hard pounding of my heart, which I have never felt before. I tried to calm my heartbeat but couldn't. I told myself to go to the ceiling. But I was so concerned about my heartbeat, which wasn't settling down, that I finally just opened my eyes. Is the hard heartbeat dangerous? Could I have a heart attack? What do you recommend I should have done in order to ap?
I went back to sleep and at some point I woke up and I had a distinct sensation that someone was pressing my lips--hard. Maybe that was a dream, but I don't think so?
Not sure how much later this next part was, but I woke up for good and was very, very dizzy. I didn't move but the room was really spinning. What I did then was ask Archangel Michael to cut all etheric cords and right after that, the room quit spinning and I was fine.
Any interpretations of what any of this was about?
Thanks in advance for your responses.

My answer is going to be from my own experience.
Sometimes when I am awake and meditating, I will feel myself floating up. It will reach a point and then I guess I get a little too excited or something and my heart speeds up and I come back down immediately. I'm guessing although you were vibrating, you weren't quite at that level yet. When I'm "at that point" I can float out, no problem. I don't feel any heart beat. There has to be a difference between these two and I'm guessing you're too much aware of your body while part of you is floating out. More of your awareness needs to leave your body. Just a guess.
The part about you feeling dizzy: I've heard of people, after having a spiritual experience, feeling dizzy and weird in their own body. Like they have to readjust to the physical body again. I don't know if that's what you are experiencing, but again, just a guess.
If you're really all that concerned, you should go to a doctor. But sometimes when our heart speeds up, we can make it speed up even more just by thinking about it or worrying about it.

Thanks for responding, AmyLou. Your response makes sense, and that's what I'm trying to do: make sense of it. It was so weird that I couldn't slow my heartbeat down until I opened my eyes. Then it was easy. Maybe the fastness of the heartbeat was a result of the dream? Or it could just be a fear of ap. The vibrations were pretty mild, so I think you're right that I wasn't at "that level" yet. Maybe what I should have done was NOT try to calm my heartbeat, but meditate or focus on something else. By focusing on my heartbeat, even though I was trying to slow it, I was focusing on my body, which probably took me away from ap-ing.
