Oh, the mind, the lower ego self, the devil... is a tricky thing...it's
job is to take us away from
happiness and joy that is ours for the taking....but offer us
temporary 'things' that brings us 'temporary' happiness.
This is the first start...never letting ridiculous thoughts get
any room to spin their silly falsehoods in our minds.
Once free from their grip...ah...it is the beginning of fresh air coming into our perception....all of a sudden
you can see clearly...without
the window being smudged with unreality.
This life has a loving presence everywhere around us and in us...
GET TO THAT perception....
Clean the window by getting rid of silly thoughts.
It takes a conscious effort to make this come about.
Never get discouraged...another trick of the mind!
Get to know the enemy...the mind and all it's various tricks!
