Twin who experienced doppelganger

Hi, I'm new to this site- so I'm not entirely sure if I'm posting in the right area. I only joined the site because of something I experienced recently.

I'm a twin, and while I was out last week I saw someone who looked just like me- just like my brother- and it wasn't my brother. It really freaked me out how extremely similar he looked to us so I took to the internet and found out about doppelgangers.

I have a serious question though- how do I know if it's my doppelganger or my brother's? I don't want to think that I'm seeing my own warning of death or anything, but I also don't want to think it's going to show my brother's death.

I'm not sure I entirely understand all of this, but the experience has me shaken up a bit. I'm so used to sharing my face and look with my brother that when I saw a stranger who was doing it as well I felt borderline nauseous. I knew there was something wrong with it.

A doppleganger is the look-alike double of a person. What does that have to do with death portends?

It doesn't mean death...I know there is some legend about that...but in fact, I think those were bilocutions by their actual twin before they died, or visitations right before or after death.

Meaning, your twin had passed on (you may or may not have known it)...and his spirit came by to see you and say goodbye.

Or...your death is immanent and your twin (still alive) was able to bi-locate and see you before your death, perhaps as a warning.
The same can of course happen if your twin has already passed over.

If it's just a doppleganger...I wouldn't sweat it.
It's a little creepy, but it just means your DNA has a lot in common with this other person. Not your soul

So it's a old superstition, like black cats and Friday the 13th. I have never heard that about doppelgangers. Scarlett Johansson took her doppelganger to her latest gala as a fun thing.

Yah. And because of the very real bond so many if not all twins share...
seeing "yourself" (i.e., seeing your actual twin) has special meaning relating to death for identical twins.

But from that, this other superstition came up...and it's not the same at all.
Unless somehow, some have seen into the future for a moment and have actually just glimpsed themselves.

Which is a different thing entirely

What about doppleganger eyes between two past loves and one that is thought to be my tf?

It raised a point for me. In this twin flame arena, what if someone is physically an identical twin one of whom declares they have found their esoteric twin?

My thought is that, regardless of whatever it is, you want your (identical) twin to be happy. If they're happy, it's all good. If they're not, then you want to support them however you can.

This has been a reoccurring thing for my twin and I. I have seen multiple people who look just like her. I get that nauseous feeling as well. I don't like it because I think it's her and I get excited. Also because it usually happens when we are in separation. When I started dating my current girlfriend (definitely not my TF) we decided to watch a show on Netflix and one of the characters had an uncanny resemblance to TF. Even stranger, in two of the seasons she had a very Twin Flame like relationship with a guy who looked a lot like me.

When I started dating my current girlfriend (definitely not my TF)

If I had a soul partner, but was dating someone else instead, I would get nauseous every time I was reminded I was not with the person I actually loved. That sick feeling of my life being wasted... I've been there and I know.
