My opinion is that I really liked the movie.

What I'm defending is people's right to not have things spoiled for them. It's common courtesy.

If you didn't like a particular scene then you could have been vague about it and people that knew what was up could have still understood you.

I was "Vague" enough, as far as I am concerned. I do not think I spoiled anything. Enjoy the Movie. Each of us has our reasons for seeing a movie. For me, Star Wars was disappointing. For you, it was everything you wanted in a movie. I accept that. Let's leave out the personal judgments of the people posting. I saw This version of Star Wars twice.

Saw it over the New Year. It held my attention for around 2 hours 15 mins and felt more like 70 mins. So pretty gripping. I had the privilege of not really seeing the first Star War's movie and i don't think i've ever watched it in full. So the movie stands on its own two feet without the preludes of previous movies. I found the casting of Harrison Ford and his old flame, don't know her name, interesting. To see that they have aged so much ? The character of Chewbacca (that funny noise he makes) had me chuckling a few times to myself, a totally ridiculous character and a reminder not to take this movie too seriously. Absolutely Glorious ending ..with the Skellig Islands off the coast of Kerry Ireland as a setting. This was the ancient home of monks who lived out there lives on the high precipes in the Atlantic ocean. A spiritual ending. I will watch it again.

And no, what people have the right to know is that you're about to ruin the movie for them!

Would a moderator PLEASE add "(SPOILER WARNING)" to the thread title??? This is insane.

That scene you hate so much has been raved about by a crazy amount of people, including me. I knew exactly what they were doing and why they were doing it, and how they portrayed it was a work of art.

I edited the title. Probably good idea. I haven't watched it yet and yall are throwing scenes from left to right.
Working my way to it..

I've been indecisive about seeing this film, so only saw it recently.

I thought it was enjoyable; that it tickled my senses, but is a fairground ride overall that's way over rated!

This movie is so overrated, it's not even funny.
