OMG, I am the same way with other people.

BUT with TS, FF we have not met in 3D and I can barely look at a pic with his eyes showing. Very rarely look at this pic. The power is unbelievable(yes vulnerable, naked, completely exposed). In fact, requested that when we meet... it is in private not at the airport and he wears sunglasses, so I can ease into it. Pretty sure I am going to faint or honestly feels more like the beginning sensations of OBE. In fact, one time we practiced meeting by talking it through and we both got so electrified that we had to take a break! And now we just work towards, being able to meet and feeling like we will be okay when the visit is over and not fall apart. BTW I am the chaser...no matter. He has no problem with looking at my eyes in the pic and in fact seems to really be comfortable with the idea in 3D.

And equally embarrassing, it took me four months before I could say his real name to him. Had to practice saying it out loud in private. Just thinking of his name or seeing it would make me swoon for the lack of a better word. And it is still special and has a physical affect on me, but now it is not so overwhelming. Sounds so romantic right! But this "relationship" is not Disneyesque at all (And now he will gloat)

Thank you so much for asking this question Unknown11. I hope the responses have been helpful to you. Just the asking was helpful to me

Not a problem. Not a problem at all and I am shy. In fact, I loved it.

I am seriously terrified (of the next time). Because it is like a spell. Lol. Isn't that sad? I become quite entranced and feel see-thru.

Eye contact was a running little teasing joke between us because I had a hard time keeping his gaze. I always felt sucked in, sucked down, falling, lost and like I'd never return nor did I want to return when I looked into his eyes. It was like a magnet and while I am not a good visualizer I can see his eyes and cheekbones in my mind's eye perfectly; my TF has a unique appearance and it's burned into my memory forever. I would giggle shyly and look away, and he commented on eye contact a few times. After that I would look longer in his eyes and just now thinking of it causes the middle of me to just... pull towards him, where ever he is out there. Heaven but difficult, very very intense. I miss those blue eyes so much.

Oh- and "intimate" eye contact? Just forget it- "lost in his eyes" was it. Gah! Yes- it felt like dancing with the universe.

I find eye contact with my TF to normally be incredibly easy, and I often initiate it! Looking into his eyes is like receiving a "mental hug", and it usually calms/soothes me......Unless he's a in a bad mood - then looking him straight in the eye can be a bit scary, lol! He projects anger as a very tangible force - not in a physical/ he'll hit someone way....just in a very dark, "leave me alone" kind of way!

It was pretty easy until the "veil was lifted" as I like to refer to it. Then it was easy again. The last two time were difficult, I had to look away. Don't know how it will be next time if there is a next time.

Actually, yes it was hard... I always found that weird but glad I am not the only one. We were talking and then just stopped and stared for what felt like hours. It was so intense I had to look away. My heart felt like it was going to burst out of my chest.

Glad you feel my question helped

Ahhah I can totally understand why you feel like you do when you look at his picture. I remember how it felt when I saw a picture of mine for the first time. I thought I was looking at myself. His eyes mesmerized me at once.

Also practicing your meeting sounds like a great idea. I would have loved to be able to do something like that before I met mine but I wasn't able to. So our first meeting (real meeting, I had exchanged eye contact from distance with him before) went without proper direct eye contact. I just couldn't do it.
