Guided in the Woods

Until I joined this forum it never occurred to me to try to talk with my guides.
I've always been a little frightened to seeing anything supernatural, so I thought why invite something into my life that I may not be ready to handle?

But some of you in all your wisdom have changed my mind, so when an opportunity arose in I went with a heart full of faith.

This is the story:

I have two dogs which I walk everyday in a wooded area around my house. One is dachshund the other a black lab/border collie mix. This is the one I have trouble handling when we sometimes pass other dogs who he deems not nice. He is strong and wants to charge, sometimes I would lose grasp of the leash, and then it's big drama time. For this reason I had to buy a very expensive harness that fits on his chest like a vest which the leash attaches to. This great invention made my walks much less stressful because it distributes his weight through out his torso.

Anyway, in June while walking, I took him off leash to let him go wondering into the woods for a few minutes, which he loves to do, I saw him go into the creek for a splash, than he went into the tall wildflowers and when he came back out he was missing the darn harness.
We looked everywhere but could not find it. I was sad because I knew I could not afford another for awhile.

Last weekend I decided to go back with him to look for the harness. Standing on a little bridge, I spoke to my guides. I said "guide my feet to it". Than I turned to my dog and let him go free. I followed him for awhile crossed the creek, continued walking through the bush, but finally realized I was lost. I called out for him to stop.
My sense of direction is not good, so it didn't surprise me, what surprised me was that I wasn't concerned, and the sun was beginning to set.
Not knowing which way was the right way, I chose to go left, as I turned my body in that direction I saw something black on the ground; the harness. I had basically been standing with it at my feet. I was quite in awe, because of the randomness of the entire incident. After that, let me tell you I found my way out of those woods in darkness without ever missing a turn.
I felt like the Cheshire cat and must of looked like it too.

The harness was their way of introduction to you.
Spirit guides are with us to help us in our journey
through life, absorbing themselves the stress and
challenges that abound. And with their wisdom and
guidance, and your execution to action in overcoming
obstacles and challenges, they too, as you, rejoice in
the development and evolution of spiritual growth. This
is the mysterious network commonly known, but really
not known by biblical scholars, as that third aspect of
the Holy Trinity - the 'Holy Spirit.' It is a collective
effort by so many of them (guides, angels, archangels) to
bring about God's will here on earth. And we are a part of
that cosmic design.

That old adage still rings true: "If we want help from those
above, we must first seek to help those below." Or the
Hermetic truism: "As above, so below; as below, so above."
For all things are interconnected. And therein lies the beauty.

that 'Holy Spirit' or 'Holy Trinity' thing has always been a mystery to me.
