Was This Lucid Dreaming?
I remember a very long time ago I had a few experiences where I was dreaming and I was able to make myself invisible in my dreams. I knew that I was dreaming, and I purposely made myself invisible because I was being chased by someone. It worked. That was twice I think? Been so long ago I can’t remember all the details. The next time or two I wasn’t being chased but I just wanted to make myself invisible to see if I could do it again, and I was able to. I was aware that I was dreaming each time. I was probably in my late teens/early twenties when these dreams happened and I’m in my late forties now. Was this Lucid dreaming? I hadn’t thought much about it until here lately.

"I knew that I was dreaming" This is the ONLY criteria to make a lucid dream. You have to know you are dreaming during the dream. So yes a lucid dream.
Making yourself invisible is an example of the advanced lucid dreaming skill commonly referred to as 'alteration'.

They do sound very much like they were lucid dreams, Middleagedseeker. When, during the dream, you become aware that you are dreaming it is possible to consciously change what happens in the scenario.
