God & Goddess

Hi, My God and Goddess are the Greek Pan, and Selene. Originally my Goddess was going to be Demeter or Hestia as I hadn't even really heard of Selene and didn't know much about her and loved the morals and stories of Demeter and Hestia however I dreamt one night a dream that I couldn't remember the next morning but I was left with the name Selene, which I know sounds absurd but I looked her up and it seems that she was perfect for my practice. She was even rumoured to have a relationship with Pan at one point and was the mother in the trio of maiden, mother and crone. I'm only 16 and this was when I was still 15 but if I've ever needed a sign that I was on the right path that was it. I have also always felt a love of Greek mythology and deities which is why I chose the greek pantheon. :)

Thanks Jenny Crow! :) Already by working with a Selene who, as you said, is the moon Goddess I have overcome my pretty much life long fear of the dark and when I was younger, the full moon! I was scared to the point where I couldn't sleep with the light fully off most nights and couldn't go out to the container at night where our dogs sleep to feed them, for fear of something unknown "getting me". It's unbelievable to me now that I was that afraid, but it's amazing how much she's helped me with simple day to day things such as these! :)
