Okay recalling your previous post ( https://www.spiritualforums.com/vb/s...d.php?t=148636 ) maybe i now see what you mean. Your question is "Does existence of good necessary imply existence of evil? Does existence of light imply that darkness also exists? and so on" if i'm not mistaken. My answer is no.

Actually, in the physical world, there kind of is: not to the concept of the chair, but to the object as materialised. By the action (I come back to the action here) of sitting on it, you can feel the equal and opposite reaction on your material butt

You sit crooked, it might react by tipping.

Now Newton did indeed, I think solely, apply this to the physical world (think billard balls hit by a queue, car crash, but also interaction of celestial bodies etc).

I do think it can be applied to emotions in reaction to an action, as in, rebellious teenager, reacting to limited screen time, the reaction to that results in them being grounded, reaction to that breeds even more rebellion etc...

Or within a couple, one partner tries to be forceful about an issue, you can be sure that there is a reaction, either overt or repressed, which either leads to discussions or resentment eating away at them, leading to the explosion later.

I really think that the principle (if not law) can be found in many different aspects of life, material and otherwise, and understanding it could help a lot in many conflicts...
