And Jesus said, Do not worry.

If you ask your earthly father for bread, would he give you a stone?
How much more will your heavenly Father give you from His riches...

Paraphrase...and combined.

Prepare yourself for the coming astral journey of death by daily riding in the balloon of God-perception.
Through delusion you are perceiving yourself as a bundle of flesh and bones, which at best is a nest of troubles.
Meditate unceasingly, that you may quickly behold yourself as the Infinite Essence, free from every form of misery. ~Paramahansa's Guru's Guru

Hi yellow,
Remember...just for a week...watch because you will see how much
worry (fear/ doubt/anxiety) will pop up.
Then you will notice how often the very word 'worry' is said in everyday
language by anchormen, in sitcoms, by waiters...establishing the brainwashing effect
in our subconscious minds that 'worry' is normal.

It is not.

Faith is actually becoming the new normal with the people I associate with! Ha!

This is more for Yellowdragon to re-read, I thought it would help.
(Because you started a thread on how do you stop worrying.)

I haven't re-read my old posts so I will maybe again.
To get rid of anything the mind has a pattern thinking...you
have a couple things that must come..
Recognize the enemy.
Desire to get rid of the enemy.
Understand the tricks of the enemy, meaning the subtleties.
Practice steering away from the enemy, maybe with logical mind-talk.
When that doesn't work, haha...
Immediately, because now you are a master of recognizing the BEGINNINGS of
the worry-thought...you physically do something,
such as, raise a finger and outloud say, "No...not going there...
does NO good....gets me NOwhere."
Change the channel...think of something else, period.

Soon, you will see how easy it is to banish these silly thoughts.
You will feel your power...the power to control this type and
other types of 'fear-based' thoughts.

Now, I don't know how simple this is if a person doesn't have the
basic, core knowledge that God or the Universe, Source
works and wants only our good!!

If we have a core unconscious belief that 'we are no good,
nothing good will ever happens to me, I am bad so I deserve to be
sick, unhappy, poor, nothing ever works out for me'...well, that
has got to change and
is a different subject.

Take care and make effort until you are on auto-pilot.

Until a person ends worrying in their thoughts, mind and emotions...
how can one expect much progress on this Path?

I say that to impress the importance of eradicating it from your
being.

Then, again, sitting in the sunshine another worry pops up...you may go on a few sentences...when
all of a sudden ,"Hey, what do ya know, I'm worrying AGAIN! Hey, I do that alot!"

Then, you get a bill in the mail, and you start up again, "How am I going to pay this?....
Oh, I'm going to 'be anxious for nothing' '..it will all work out someday...and my worrying
will not help anything. Sooo, I will just stop."

You are changing the pattern already.

Yep....Once I got a bill from the electricity company saying I owed them over £600. At the time I had ZILCH money. I didn't have time to worry....I was so pumped with adrenaline I phoned the company from the top of a hill while playing frisbee with my dog! (must have thrown that frisbee 50,000 times....the dog didn't mind)
Guess what? The next thing the phone lady said was "Don't worry. We can fix it for you to pay so much a month until it is paid off."
So that is exactly what I did, and though I had to live on nettle and lentil/bean soup for ages....the bill got paid and I didn't drop dead! haha

So it showed me worry is probably a waste of resources and energy a lot of the time. Why worry? Just do something pro-active instead if there is a problem. And if there isn't -don't anticipate one.
