Hey everyone, I'm Akairyuu and I'm a 21 year-old female from Edinburgh

I first started getting into energy related things when I was about 11-ish when I discovered the movement of Ki during karate and started teaching myself about energy in my spare time. Along the way, I learned how to manipulate energy and even created my own healing method, which coincided with my first psychic experiences, where I discovered I could see different kinds of energies in my minds eye.

A few years later, I joined my first spiritual forum where I learned about the chakra system and learned how to ground and protect whilst bringing energy up through my chakras during a chakra awareness exercise. Then a couple years later, I started to get interested in Reiki and I eventually got attuned to Usui Reiki level one and two weeks ago, I had an awesome experience where the shop owner of a crystal shop I went to help balance, cleanse my soul and opened me up to amazing, holy energy :)! And now, I think I'm my Kundalini is starting to wake up even though I don't do yoga but I'm not sure so I'll ask about that in another thread.

Anyway, that's a quick blast about me

! I'll make sure to try and get a few posts in and get into the swing of the forums ^^! Though if I disappear for ages, that's the norm for me and forums in general lol.

And lol, I may be Scottish but I have a real pull towards the Japanese culture for some reason. Maybe I was Japanese in my previous life :)?

Sounds like you’ve been having fun exploring new territory making steady progress. That’s great.

Others can help us get acquainted w/ our energies as we learn that we can do energy work our self.
