Going back to that 'gap'.

There are trillions of things we humans observe and catergorise as this or that. The analytical mind does that...sorts, files into catergories, so that the brain is able to access its filing system to retrieve info again when needed.

I recall this intriguing little scientific observation, where particles are seen to appear and then disappear, only to re-appear somewhere else. Am I right? If one can digest this phenomenum fully, then to me it blasts all other meaningless theories out of the water....like gaps where consciousness lives....the space between....etc.

When I think of this, all this other nonsensical stuff seems to fall away and that leaves me with a clean chalk-board again and nothing to write on it...hehe

We try to objectify things and say 'awareness is expanding'... but consider how meaningless that is... what we are saying there is here I am watching awareness expanding, making awareness 'the object'... it's pretty much poofy spiritually fluff.

What is expansion but the creation of space, and in turn the creation of space the removal of objects? Like thoughts are layed on the ground below, or some such thing, filed, shelved, floated away somewhere...

The attention turned toward some 'other'... it's left when things are gone... so 'expanding awareness' is the removal of objects from ones attention...

Or something.

yes, scientific gap between atoms and electrons.
"out there" is fine I have to often reads posts 3 - 4 times to work out what's being said.

Oops, just catching up, didn't see a second post before I replied.

Quick science lesson 101. Things like oxygen, hydrogen, iron, copper whatever are molecules which are made up of atoms. Atoms are made up of electrons that zoom around a nucleus. This is the first gap.

The nucleus is made up of sun-atomic particles (eg quarks, leptons, bosons,...) which is the basis of quantum physics. Quantum laws do not follow normal science laws and they can be here or there, at the same time, without transition or any number of other bazaar actions. There are gaps here too. But basically, you are right about what you remember.

The problem is no one can digest it fully just yet and if they did, I am sure they will find a smaller level underneath. (Incidentally, the atom was called an atom because it was supposed to be the smallest thing.)

Summary: who really knows where consciousness is..... We can just have best theories. The good thing with a clean chalk board is you can build up from scratch and add what you have learnt
