IF A DOG WAS YOUR TEACHER
Nice to ponder, see what you think.
If a dog was you teacher
(unknown.)
If a dog was your teacher, these are some of the lessons you might learn.
-when loved ones come home, always run to greet them.
-Never pass up the opportunity to go for a joyride.
-Allow the experience of fresh air and the wind in your face, to be pure ecstasy.
-When its in your best interest, practise obedience.
-Let others know when theyve invaded your territory.
-Take naps and stretch before rising.
-Run, romp and play daily.
-Thrive on attention and let people touch you.
-Avoid biting, when a simple growl will do.
-On warm days stop to lie on your back on the grass.
-On hot days drink lots of water and lay under a shady tree.
-When your happy dance around and wag your entire body.
-No matter how often your scolded, dont buy into the guilt thing and pout, run right back and make friends.
-Delight in the simple joy of a long walk.
-Eat with gusto and enthusiasm.
-Stop when you have had enough.
-Be loyal.
-Never pretend to be something your not.
-If what you want lies buried, dig until you find it.
-When someone is having a bad day, be silent...sit close by...And nuzzle them gently.

If my dog was my teacher, I hope she'd leave out the lesson on eating fox, badger and cow poo.

Dogs could teach humans a thing or two about loyalty and non-judgemental, selfless, unconditional love ....

 Loved it ,made me smile and laugh,all so true ,Ive recently felt much closer to my doggie ,and I am a better person for that through her............

Have you heard this one?

Lock your wife (husband) together with your dog in the boot of your car. Then go away for three hours. Come back and let them out. Which one will be overjoyed to see you and smother you with kisses? 
(Health warning -don't do this on a sunny day when the outside temperature is above 60 degrees....)LOL! |

I like it, dogs are great. I also read one of these about a tree hope you don't mind Robertj if I put it here.
Advice from a tree.
Stand tall an proud.
Go out on a limb.
Remember your roots.
Drink plenty of water.
Be content with your natural beauty.
Enjoy the view. |

Trees have much to tell us also. That's true.
Now what is it with dogs and trees...? (and telegraph poles, and lamp posts....and car tyres...?)
A tree is also very content to stand still and be a dog's social media inbox.....
