I did not test these scriptures per se.

to my experience.

I would however change, God does not hold unforgiveness against anyone.
Unforgiveness is allowed to stay if one chooses that for themselves.
But it is like drinking poison to get back at your offender.
Out of fear a person can choose to stay in victim-hood.
But if a person uncovers the Divine Love of God at their core
they will see they and the offender is GREATLY Loved by God and in this
Love these trivial grievances leave us since they have no life
in the Divine Love of God.They are like shadow that disappears in the Light of Love.

My favorite scripture is Mather 23:14.

This scripture displays her full potential only in modern Bibles.

The verse says absolutely nothing.

It appears the scripture was not found in older manuscripts therefore modern Bibles normally leave the scripture blank.
Do not worry. Have no fear. Fear not. Be not afraid.

Tell this to those families in Syria, Yemen, Afghanistan, and all those others being bombed, burned, raped, shot and defiled. All done by grown men and women who live so assured in their righteousness and deliver the tools needed for such perversions.

It'll lift their hearts up towards heaven and all the promises therein.

So you have an issue with the hopeful instructions of Jesus?
His message to mankind?

Prepare yourself for the coming astral journey of death by daily riding in the balloon of God-perception.
Through delusion you are perceiving yourself as a bundle of flesh and bones, which at best is a nest of troubles.
Meditate unceasingly, that you may quickly behold yourself as the Infinite Essence, free from every form of misery. ~Paramahansa's Guru's Guru

"Render unto Caesar the things that are Caesar's, and unto God the things that are God's"

In my way of thinking if one truly lives that and experientially it's not that dissimilar from the second quote in my sig.

I don't know if anyone knows this more than me - it's actually one of the Secrets of Life, imo.
Just do this, and oh my, life becomes so much more wonderful.

Love this quote and just like you, it is my first priority in life to remember to do this - to turn everything over to Him and rid my mind of it altogether - even tiny decisions I have to make daily and every worry or fear.

And ‘wonderful’ is the perfect word for what your life becomes when you’re not using your own brain to wrestle with things but instead letting God handle it all.

I know, right ? I let Him take my burdens. I figure they are His anyway...He put me here, LOL... and so far so good!
(Example, He influenced me to buy this house,
the economy tanked, had a big mortgage,
I knew He would take care of it...so He laid it on the heart of a friend that paid it off for me $100,000...
I never complained and never had a worry...she just did, no strings.)

Acknowledge Him, thank Him - and rely on Him.

I live by many verses - this is one when I read it yrs ago, wow - I took it as Gospel Truth
and have no doubt it it's truth. I know it by heart----

"This is the confidence we have in approaching God:
that if we ask anything according to his will, he hears us.
And if we know that he hears us - whatever we ask - we know
that we have what we asked of him." -1 John 5:14-15

I see this as perfect logic.

That's similar to this passage from the Bhagavad Gita:

"Whatever your action,
Food or worship;
Whatever the gift
That you give to another;
Whatever you vow
To the work of the spirit. . .
Lay these also
As offerings before Me."

LOL! I do now!

One of the aspects of Advaita Vedanta I appreciate is its openness to the validity of all forms of worship and the truth is, at least how I interpret it, is the teachings of Jesus have a lot of similarities to non-dualistic teachings.

“The coming of the kingdom of God is not something that can be observed, nor will people say, ‘Here it is,’ or ‘There it is,’ because the kingdom of God is in your midst (or, within you.)” The kingdom is of Heaven is here with us now."
