Sacred Space Destroyed!

I had a sacred place that I felt totally in tune with for the past 2 years or so. I as just a clearing in the woods, with 4 very distinctive trees that perfectly marked the edges. I did all my meditating and rituals there. Then my mom's boyfriend got into hunting. He decided he liked my clearing 'cause it had the big trees for a stand and an open space for a feeder. Now the clearing has a big ugly feeder hung up in the middle and a tree stand for hunting! The man is actually shooting and killing deer there! It's been desecrated, and now I have to find a new space, but I feel terrible leaving the old one. (The man has no respect for this sort of thing, he thinks I'm being ridiculous)

This is basically just a rant, but feel free to comment.

Hiya Wolfe

Could you steal his gun and shoot him?

Sorry, that wasn't very helpful but that kind of disrespect for your space just boils my blood.

I really feel for you.

Yeah, some people of a certain gender persuasion tend to take things over, y'know. Not a surprise to me, lol. I hope you can find a better spot, but more importantly, maybe it's best to make a spot new everytime, make it a moveable transportable one so that it doesn't draw his attention and well, you know he'll do that again if he sees you've set up a new one.

Hi Wolfe,
Have you talked to your mom about it? Can she persuade him to move his ****?

bummer! i'd take Silvergirl's advise. there's few things macho jerks enjoy more than killing wild critters and invading and occupying the peaceful spaces belonging to someOne else.

I second that, IQ, sadly...

although, I have an idea that you could do special blessings on the old space that he's 'turned into a killing ground' maybe it will make the deer avoid this area and he'll be scratching his head wondering where all his prey went, lol. Just a thought.

well, there is such a thing as "deer repellent". if i were Wolfe i'd buy a bottle and pour the whole thing into the deer corn despenser. lol

(sssshhh! don't tell anyOne but pre-every hunting season i do that to the despensers i can find in the woods of the hunt club down the road. teehee! (though the repellent is a bit spendy so not a whole bottle per despenser.))
