Who Was I?

I was wondering if anyone could tell me who I was in my past life or maybe knew any methods for me to remember who i was in my past lives. If I was to rank myself on a scale of 1 to 100 of being spiritually enlightened, i'd be a 1 (not enlightened at all) but spiritual practices intrigue me very much! So if anyone could, please help me find out who i was in my past lives.

Look for offers on this forum for Past Life readings.

A simple way for you to try alone to find this out is to ask a dream question before you go to bed at night.

Of course this depends on how adept you are at keeping a dream diary and dream recall.... If you do this great. If not I suggest that you start to do so, as its a great way to start your spiritual journey, you can learn much about yourself....

If you have already mastered the dream journal then ask your guides before you sleep to show you your past life that you are currently working with...... Then write down what you get and do it a few more times too...

Of course I believe we have had many past lives so its always good to specify a past life. ie the one you are working with, or maybe you feel you have had a past life in a particular era, and you can ask about that.

Failing that you can seek out a curative hypnotherapist, like myself, who does past life regressions, and you can be regressed into a past life, Im told it feels as though you are actually re-living the past life experience....

Hypnotherapy, in the event that you have access to it, is definitely a feasible option. There are also self-regression CDs you can buy, and there are some really good videos/recordings on Youtube as well. You can also see videos on there of regressions, which are really interesting to view.

Something that will definitely help if you are new to reincarnation research, would to be to go through all you can remember of dreams or instances throughout the years that just didn't "fit".

For example:

- A lot of people who eventually recall having a Nazi PL, recall being drawn to Nazi Germany and several that I know grew up drawing swastikas, skulls, that kind of thing. Do you have a strong interest in any given time period that has no base in this life? Do you "know" things you can't possibly know?

- Did you ever have any dreams where you were someone else in a situation that you don't remember being involved in in this present life?

- Do you remember at any point in time, especially at a younger age, where you made comments about your "real" family, your "other" family, or "when I was a grown-up"? (I used to be adamant about my "real" family being English, living in England, and waiting for me to return to England)



If you have a specific era in mind, triggers are another feasible option, although they don't always provide conclusive results. Plus, any attempt at "triggering" memories via documentaries, movies, books, etcetera; may contaminate your memories and you don't want that.

Is there something you know and you don't know how you know it, or something you would like to know? Repeat it to yourself over and over again as you're falling asleep (I did this once and it was "What do I know about Dresden?" I dreamt about it's layout that night, and I have never seen a map of Dresden before)

You can --as SoulSparkles said-- also talk to your guides/angels and see if they can help you.



Something I want to advise you on, and this is from experience. If there is something being blocked from your knowledge, or something that you are not being shown; it's probably with good reason and you are not quite ready to view it yet. I had several memories and things that had been blocked out not just by my subconscious, but by my guide as well. I really wanted to know what it was and I pushed on and I deeply regret doing so. I wasn't ready to handle what I saw and although I've largely moved on from it now, I wasn't ready for it then.

Ever since I was a child, I've been really drawn to Native American, African, and Egyptian culture. Could my past lives been a member of one of those?

It is possible. I also am drawn to Native American culture, I listen to their music, and sometimes feel like one of them, even though I don't understand the words, the music makes sense to my soul. I also tend to have alot of dreams based on WW2, I am always fighting the Germans in those dreams.

Hahaha. I was in Egypt too. I am also drawn to NA culture, for good reasons. I was in ww2 too... as a german officer :) We may have met in combat, Chalk. But don't worry, I was executed eventually. By the nazis. Sucks to follow your heart :)

Despite how common it is to feel related to WW2, I feel no connection...Although for some reason, I dislike the early 90's (around the roaring 20's period i really dislike that era, its music, and its fashion)
