Peace of a lily -

Caring and loving everlasting growth,
the peace of a lily I chose,
just give me light and watch me grow,
my lasting is with my mothers heart,
care for me well and I will embrace,
for the beauty of me is a happy place

Just give me space so I can grow,
a new home or pot so I can excel,
give me water when I’m feeling low,
my leaves will droop so you will know,
I also have to feel grounded indeed,
some dirt from the earth is all I need.

During the months my leaves may dwell,
just trim me away and watch me excel,
for I am ready for you every day,
and I will never fade away…

I am the lily of peace, and the soul of my mothers grace,
she brought me to this wonderful place,
I watched her children as they grew,
as she watched mine shining through

When I was thrown by the sun of god,
she picked me up and tore me apart,
now I’m seperate from the other half,
I carried on and done my part,
for I am her lily and also her heart.. we can never be apart.

Thank you I have had my Lily plant for over 23 years, apparently they don't usually last this long, and she is so big and lush, so I put it down to the love I have given her, she's like part of the family, I talk to her every day and clean her leaves from dust, she rewards me with her beautiful display.
