The Odyssey, a parable for twin flames?
So I just watched the Odyssey with a new pair if eyes.
Odysseus goes to Troy to fight a battle and wins.
As he is bragging and carrying and Poididen asks him why he mocks himself and tells him he will suffer for this.
About 15 years into his journey he encounters Poseidon again and asks him what he wants for him because he has nothing left accept for his life. Poseidon tells him that he wants him to understand that he is nothing....nothing without the Gods and that it is not his intention to kill him..
Only when he humbles himself and realizes that he is just one man, among other men is he able to return home to Ithaca!
It is a parable about the Ego and karma keeping twin flames apart!
