what do you guys do in the astral?

the title says it all...just want to know what other people do while astral projecting? has anyone also successfully astral projected with a partner and confirmed the experience with each other

First of all, welcome to this Forum. I hope you find it enriching as I do as there are a lot of great people here willing to help and provide their viewpoints and experiences!

Okay...to your question and statement: I will answer your second one first. Yes. Not my partner but it was a fellow meditating person that met me in the room above our bodies. We were in a group. We perceived each other and traded thoughts and were pleasantly surprised by the encounter! We decided to go back to our physical bodies and talk about it which we talked about it for quite some time! It created a bond that I will never forget!

To your first question: I've played and viewed things. I love my space so I do this before chit-chatting with others that are out-and-about so-to-speak. I also enjoy learning new things and while I am hardly a seasoned OOBE'er, I am taking my time absorbing every perception and capability. It is a lot of fun and freedom like no other!

no fair! your lucky, my mom says I'm not aloud to astral project! She doesn't want me to accidentally somehow get stuck outside my body or drag some spirit back with me or something! (In my house saying I'm not aloud to astral project is about as weird as saying I'm not aloud to borrow the car) So basically I can't try it till I move out or I'd be breaking the rules and get grounded. ugh.

I am totally afraid of astral projection. I don't think it should be done alone.
It should be done with someone experienced. JMHO.

for those that are scared or not "allowed" to AP, know one thing at the very least, this is exactly what you do every time you fall asleep, it is completely natural and you can NOT get stuck out of the body, and as far as getting caught, how would anybody know?? lol...there is NOTHING to fear, at worst you will only manifest your OWN fears...

People often have ideas and fears about astral projection that are not based in knowing what it really is. In fact, we naturally go out of body nearly every time we go to sleep but are unaware of it. Astral projection means dong it consciously and purposely.

Learning more can dissolve most fears, or show you how to go beyond them. I suggest the book, "Secret of the Soul" by William Buhlman, which is really interesting reading even if you don't want to develop the ability.

As for what I do out-of-body, mostly I commune with loved ones and do some healing work.

Well my mom's a dork, and I know it's not possible, but trust me, her intuition's great, if I tried to astral project on purpose chances are she'd know. (I'm not kidding, it's only even possible to sneak up her her if she's near electronics, which makes no sense to me. Can't get away with anything in this house.) and yes Xanth, I'm serious. :]

Well.... I can't even talk about it around my family. They'd think I am crazy. They get nervous over tarot cards. Unfortunately in the past whenever I APed, it was a semi- negative experience done by accident and uncomfortable at best. In fact I stopped for years.

I had two people tell me i needed to learn to stay in my body, lol.

Recently I've tried doing it again with more control this time. It is interesting, and I' mostly observing.

not sure if it's the same thing, but I'm also using Lucid dreaming to answer some questions i've had for a long time, but never had the opportunity to answer.
