Falling leaves……..”yeah but you get less enthusiastic about doing 'right' emotions when everyone is mean to you all the time, and you have to smile and take it and not say anything lest if you don't toe the line they will get even meaner”
Have you ever thought of NOT smiling and NOT taking it for a change?
Perhaps these people have been brought into your life so you can learn to be more assertive and stand up to them. And when you are able to do this, then other respectful people will come into your life.
In my life experience I have found that people DONT get meaner, they eventually respect you more!
