Response to Human being in post #10..
Thank you. Yes, my father died almost 3 weeks ago now. He's in a better place.
With regard to the TF and letting go, it completely different to the letting go of a "human " relationship as far as I'm concerned. Don't get me wrong, the pain can feel the same but with a twin flame I believe it's because this relationship is spiritual rather than "human" . When we "know" that this is different and cannot be broken we then find it very difficult to accept that it actually IS broken , and it shouldn't be ( in human terms) so we are pulled between earth and the universe in our emotions .
It took me years to stop feeling pain with my TF. I could not bear the pain. But we all know the concept of runners and chasers . For all the time I knew him in person I was the chaser. Now I believe I'm the runner... Maybe once a year he rings me and we chat like he's an old friend and nothing more.
I know full well that I will never ever see him again in this lifetime because I'm so poorly but I'm at peace with that now.
The greatest parting gift is the knowledge that he will always love me.
