I have a strong feeling about who I was in a past life, but how do I test it?

Like the title says. I feel sure sometimes - and crazy other times! - that I was - well, I'd rather not say, but let's say a semi-well-known figure who was not the sort of person you would usually think you were in a past life. You know, everybody wants to be Cleopatra or something. But I feel strongly, after reading personal things this person wrote and seeing how similar their writing style was to mine and their spiritual epiphanies, that I MAY have been them - this person died in 1982 and is somewhat well-known today. They would have possibly believed in reincarnation themselves, and if I had the chance to talk to them, they might even think we could BE the same person, as this individual themself had a vision of being someone else in another time. I may have given enough away that some people will figure out who I mean, actually... my question is. How can I find out for sure? Is there a way to do past life regression or something, experience memories from this person's life, and then see if these events actually happened by asking someone who knew them personally? Has anyone else had something like this happen to them?

Hi darkangel91,

This is what I would do to get this verified as much as it's even possible to get anything verified about a past lifetime: I would contact a few different psychics and ask them all the same question (who you were in your last lifetime), and without mentioning any clues.

A regression to find out details might be worth a try. 1982 was not that long ago. It should be possible to find people who are still alive and knew the person in question.

Thank you for your help. Somehow I shall have to do those things, though I don't really have the opportunity to go to psychics or do past-life regressions right now. (Teen, living at home, no money. XD) But someday I will do so and see what, if anything, happens.

I am not a teenager, but I can't afford a regression therapist or psychics either.

There are mp3s for self-hypnosis and self-regression. They seemed to work for me.
Just that I can't be entirely sure. I might have made it up somehow.

(Also, in my case, the person in question died a long time ago, so details are useless. What hasn't been written down or doesn't exist anymore no one would know, and what has been written down and still exists I might have heard about in this life...)
Better ask someone else, too, but maybe some file for meditation/trance/self-hypnosis/self-regression might be worth a try. In your case, it should be easier to get details either confirmed or proven wrong.

Comparing astrological natal charts, as well as looking at key events can help. Numerology and full birth name analysis as well. Having looked at many cases, I know evidence can be gathered in this way that offers proof to even disbelieving people. If you would like to know more, then drop me a PM and I would be happy to help.

I would say there is no need to 'test' anything.
There is a time when we finally trust our intuition.
Tho, it is always a fun thing when a medium confirms something...
hahahaha...ah, the memories...then, confirmed by strangers.

Thank you all very much for all your help - especially Seeker - I didn't even think to try self-hypnosis or the like. I shall try it sometime. And to Miss Hepburn... well, I'm a very science-minded person. I don't trust anyone's intuition, my own included! I prefer proof. This may be a weakness in some ways, but it's a strength too - I suspect I'm a bit less gullible than most people because of it, though modesty and a realistic self-image prevent me from saying that I'm particularly less gullible. Just somewhat. :)

I respect an honest man
that knows himself...or admits he doesn't!

Seeing is believing in my book...good for you.
