a fun day/ energy on camera

so thee other day. im chillin at my friends house.
and he shows me his xbox 360 connect camera. (hooked into pc, not xbox)
we were thinking about recording a video.
now it had this cool feature. it was some what like infrared, but wasnt.
it did something with heat and motion?.
my friend was kinda changed colors. me i stayed a constant kind of green.
you would change colors when you go closer to the camera.
the awesome thing was it was rendering parts of the energy i was doing as color.
that part is hard to explain, it would be more easy to show. once i do record something. my image was going crazy just standing still

i stayed mostly in the same place, green. but i had a shadow which was black.
when i started flaring my energy field outward, my shadow on the camera was growing larger. and i wasnt moving and neither was the camera.
i had my friend stand next to me still for a bit and his shadow never changed like mine was.
i was watching it rise and fall. (well it stayed large till i got tired)
i felt energy shooting up my spine and i kinda stopped after that.
it was awesome
i dont know why it picked up energy as black.
but even sitting far as possible and making a energy ball it was still black.
more like a black outline really. im gona keep experimenting with this.

it reminded me of auras i had seen on camera.
the biggest were on a ninja training video i had seen featuring one Masaaki Hatsumi.
when he stands over you with his naked blade, and you have to dodge his strike based on him projecting his intent to strike.
behind him are like 7 or nine other ninja kneeling with their hands on their knees,
you can see them to.
i cant see colors or nothing.
