What does your chi ball feel like?

I recently started tai chi as this is my next step of the spiritual journey which I have been on. I have made much headway in discovering my chi. I was wondering if others experience with the chi ball are similar to mine. After connecting heaven earth man, which is the technique I was taught to activate chi, I am able to feel the chi ball. It feels like my hands are two magnets. When I bring them together, there is a slight resistance like I am squeezing the chi. When I pull my hands apart it feels like chi is being sucked out of my arms and hands to fill the chi ball. It feels very good.

Hi, when I first started learnimh Tai Chi I was aready into Reiki so the teacher was teaching about the '/energy Ball' and remarked that my face was a picture, you do reiki he said and I said at the time I had recently taken the Reiki 2 attunement.. I was asked to describe to the class what I was feeling/ experienceing .. I said' image the bristles of a thick paint brush in the centre of each palm' and that you are brushing those together with each palm...

This morning I was doing some Tai chi excerices and it still feels the same.. I progress to maste level in Reiki many years ago but the sensation of the energy ball i is the same..

When I used to meditate I'd feel energy balls above my palms which were sitting on my knees facing up... there'd be an energy ball about the size of maybe six inches in diameter in each hand. I'd wager if I started martial arts I'd be deadly, lol.

Magnets is a good description of it. You should be able to increase the pressure without moving your hands. When I build a chi ball I allow the pressure to push my hands apart. If you pull your hands apart too fast the ball will disperse.

It seems to me we have different ways of describing the same thing really, one thing is we are all feeling it so it exists..

My chi ball feels like a sticky warm bubble. I don't like pulling it very much as it might get hurt. Not that it would!

Sticky doesn't sound good.... sounds like denser energy, light energy is fluid like air....

It's like a bubble, and can be made less sticky. The first time I did Tai Chi in a class that was my experience. Teacher was impressed with me for getting that far as a newbie, and I managed to lighten it and let it go.

Why doesn't it sound okay?

Ah that's good if you lightened it. Sticky energy sounds lower density to me but if you were new at it then that is actually quite good. :)

My chi ball feels like an magnetic push inside the palms of my hands. One hand goes in the other will push it out, pretty much it unless you put more energy into the chi ball.
