I tried to read this book once and found it to be the most poorly written piece of literature ever published.

I am sure there were other redeeming qualities in the piece of work that kept the majority of readers entertained enough to overlook all of these issues but I myself could not. I wanted to take a red pen to it and make corrections.

I wonder why did they sold so many books when some people are saying the book is not that great?

Couldn't agree more but somehow I had to read it ! The plot was appalling, the writing was poor and - the characters - no character development - just character transformation.

that said, it was a great talking point as a book and yes I read it on the underground on my kindle, smirking to myself and eyes popping out of my head thinking "really?" like a good many other commuters!!

If we all liked the same things, life would be boring. My daughter raved about the series. For me, it's not my cup of tea. So I think it is personal preference. Enjoy it and don't worry about what anyone else says.
