lost? innocence

Hello all.

Is our innocence ever actually lost?? Perhaps it is simply overlaid with mind mechanisms attempting to cope with the hurt of disappointment? --wondering if cynicism is one example of just such a mechanism?

Perhaps we need not search for what seems lost, but instead learn to understand why it seems lost?--which may help us to remove the overlay?

Innocence is a lack of guilt, with respect to any kind of crime, or wrongdoing. In a legal context, innocence is to the lack of legal guilt of an individual, with respect to a crime. In other contexts, it is a lack of experience. WIKKI

Hello

I feel to have lost something one has to feel that guilt over a loss. We do not always feel this place so we then have not maybe lost out on anything. For some the most personal innocence is giving of your body to someone, but for some it is just the "act" of getting the first time over and done with, and moving forwards. In this there is that loss of virginity but its not a loss on the emotional level as it was just an act with a means to and end.

We it is said come in with a "Soul Contact" so in that there might be lessons we have to go through and learn that will lead us down that path of experiencing many things that we could see as a loss. In the end was it a loss or was it just our life path and the lessons on it.

We are so emotional at times that we get clouded by what really is there to see from what we learned that will move us forwards.

We are not born I feel innocent as we have lived before and will maybe come back and live again. If we look to the Biblical Garden of Eden that is where innocence was lost and man was set on his/her path. You cannot go back and not eat of the tree fruits.

Everyone is innocent at core, but overlaid with greed hatred and delusion, people move into deceit and unhappiness. Innocence is possible and that is the path of Innocence.

Hello all.

In considering "innocence", early days in our discussion to come to the conclusion of definition.?

Perhaps for the moment-and beyond if we so wish-we might simply use the description "it"?--(though "it" may take shape in our thoughts at some point as a "how"?)

Personal current thinking is that when we "have" "it", we do not know "it".

Yet when we think we have lost "it", it is then perhaps that we begin to know--"of it"--?

And by understanding why we think we have lost "it", we may perhaps become aware that actually we always have "it" without ever knowing it?

Maybe this is not a work in progress but progress in working--and together.
