Everything in creation has its own place in The Chain Of Existence - and no one place is less important or more important than another.
When we look and ask: Who is the more Important: The Teacher or The Student?; we can see that neither are anything without the other. Ditto The Man or The Woman; The Child or The Parent; The Earth or The Sky.
In everything is a place for everyone that is essential if things are to "work" as they should. Here is a short video that I think sums up matters very nicely. In this case it's demonstrating the effect of removing wolves from an environment and than replacing them; but it could just as easily apply to anything or anyone everywhere:
