Are aura colours meanings exactly the same for everyone?
Hi there sleepy here, I haven't been on for a while but had many posts here in the past, but need to start again as it was all lost :( so that being said for those of you who have been seeing auras for a while and fairly well have you found out if the colours you see around people match what is written in the books, I seem to see illness in peoples auras mostly and I feel that I have had to figure it out on my own as it doesn't really match what is in books example I have seen browney orange balls on a persons shoulders I have asked that person what they suffer from and the said osteo problems, but haven't seen that in a book am i alone here in this problem?

I've yet to see auras with my physical eyes, but when I did readings in the past, I was able to will myself to see a representation of the aura with my mind's eye. I say "representation" because I'm convinced what I was seeing was through my symbolic, clairvoyant filter. Whatever colors and shapes I saw were for my eyes alone, meant to be interpreted through my own symbolic dictionary. It got me wondering whether what I saw in my head would've been completely different from what I saw in the physical, if I ever got to that point.
I am of the opinion that no one is going to read someone's aura the same way, because colors mean different things to different people... not to mention the funny "shapes" you often get, like the "brown-orange balls" you mentioned. It's something we've got to feel intuitively, I suppose.

Hello thank you for your input on my question, if a few others say that is what they see then I will think that definitely is the case.

I can't see auras but sense them by spreading my hands and doing a scan. I can do this with intention; the person does not have to be physically present (only if they have requested me to do a remote scan).
I trust the messages I get, the spots or negative energy or blocks or cords I sense. I don't see the colours, I visualize them and sometimes I am given a light of a certain colour to heal. I trust what I am getting and leave the rest to God and the guides.
I love to see Evaah's art and hear from people who do" see" things.

Hello
It is at times I will get a colour but then again colour at times is in the perception that one has on what it looks like, its like those what colour is this test you might see on Facebook. For some it might look like blue to others it might seem like green. Its not always an easy thing to determine where the line in the sand is drawn.
If I get a colour then I too will look for a vibration of energy to that colour and what it might then mean. If someone is not well and I feel that but too I know well that I have not asked or maybe can get permissions for more to read deeper I simply say "Bless" and walk on. In this I clear the energy from me that wants to help but too I do not invade the space of another.
When someone is really ill and I sense that one I get a grey fog around them and in that place I know well that its in much higher hands than that of man.
The books like other things like cards ext are written by someone in the general view of the masses what most feel it means. It is when we open to our own intuition and use the book only as a reference that we understand the most.
Lynn

Keep in mind, too, that there are various layers to the aura. Most often I suspect it is the outer "shown to the public" layer that people notice and read. This is most people refer to when they speak of "reading your aura."
The inner layers are more and more personal, the closer to the subject's body they are. In these layers often there is a wealth of impressions, colors and patterns become more varied.
I perceive illness as grey, black, or colorless chaotic energy swirls. Emotional issues are often black or red to me.
Happiness comes through to me as either pastels or joyous clear colors (bright yellow, deep pink, royal blue).
For my money, I'd say ditch the books. If you can perceive auras in any fashion at all, trust your instincts about what the colors mean. As Lynn says, the books are written for the general populace. The aura experience is quite personal, so just enjoy and learn for yourself what the colors mean.

Apparently, depending on whether you are primarily left or right brained, could cause you to see a colour or its complementary. I've read this, would be good to know if anyone has also heard this. Or knows if it's not true.

I recently was with a psychologist and saw her surrounded by a white light. The countour was very clear .
Could that be an aura?

If you can see auras clearly enough, you'll find their thoughts are represented over their shoulders. This is most likely what you're beginning to see.
And the other comments within the thread a right. Each colour means different things, with the darker shades being indications off illness in some form. Each person viewing an individual should be able to see the same colours/images, assuming they can see with the same clarity.
