Disturbing lucid dreams

Hello, I don't say 'disturbing' because the content was such, I use the word because I was entirely conscious and had an overwhelming desire to alter the course of the dreams. Had they been daily situations, I would have done my best to change what was happening. It didn't seem right. No matter what I tried to think, nothing happened, I had no thoughts except those presented in the dreams and the desire to change their course. It was as though my regular thought processes had been temporarily disabled.
I have accepted the messages in the dreams and am working to apply them but what I would like to explore is; are these normal lucid dreams?
Psychic abilities have been strong for me for a long time. So, the whole idea does not spook me, I am curious and wish to know more.

Hello there, I have had so many Lucid Dreams in my life and from that experiences I can say, not all dreams are the same. In some dreams you can easily do things as you expect and in some it is harder. Maybe dreams also have different planes. Don't worry about it, just keep up with your wonderful journeys and keep expanding Good Luck. PEACE :)

There are pretty much infinite degrees of lucidity, you probably just weren't all there even though it might have felt like it at the time. If you don't have enough consciousness to use your intention/expectation/will to change your dream situation, then your awareness isn't completely present. That's the blurred line between lucid dreaming and having a vivid dream, there are lots of opinions on the matter. In any case, vivid dreams ("lucid" or not) are interesting, I would say be careful not to take any dream too seriously though

my thinking is that you'd experienced "non-normal lucid dreams".
i suspect that your higher self had a hand in this... limiting your
options, and focusing your attentions on what was sensed as needing to be
addressed (and changed/improved). there may have been a timing issue
that you were unaware of in this earthly form.
