The vacuum

Last night in a spontaneous meditation immersion, in the physical correspondent to the mouth to head ovoid, thoughts and identity absent, my presence found itself in what I can at best describe as a great vacuum of no-thingness, yet humming silently with potent power. It was a singularity point or zone but bereft of any attribute, in motionlessness. There was neither time nor space but on exiting the offering, I’d say an hour or more had gone by in as linear time goes.

Anyone experienced something along these lines although in a way, what I stated may be simply summed up as ‘nothing to report’?

The living vacuum

in the dead of night
for no reason at all
we awake refreshed
tranquil and still
thoughts rested
our heart at peace
with the bliss current
humming in the background
animating the continuum
with the breath of God
whereupon we are immersed
in the great vacuum
of energised no-thingness
in absolute motionlessness
where formless presence
is awake in its primal state
bereft of attributes
save awareness innate to Self

we are herein complete
as the emptiness itself
humming with potent power
there is neither light nor darkness
yet we are fully cognisant
of the all that is, which we are
dwelling thus in boundless peace
in a formless realm of singularity
where time and space do not exist
we exist as pure consciousness
self-existent in and as the void
having neither fetters of form
nor any agenda to pursue

as of choiceless choice we return
back from the void into form
where this vast emptiness
corresponds to the head ovoid
ensouled by the cosmic egg
alluded to as Hiranyagarbha
wherefrom the one became two
merging in heart to be one again
but all of this is now in the past
for we now choose to bilocate
between duality and singularity
in our waking state of Turiya
the motionless screen of Self
upon which images come and go

Life does go on even as we experience ourselves in these various streams of experience.. hehe

It was many years ago during a meditation.

The breath in deep silent calm
Motionless, a rising balm
Where nothing quenched
Nothing gained
All was lost
No more strain
Stillness all pervading rose
A deeply felt peaceful prose
Quelled my body
Stilled the stream
A place of nothingness now redeemed
Fullness in this nothingness complete
The canvas streamed
As a deep felt peace
So wet peaceful
So very alive
This nothingness balm
Full of life.

An HOUR? My mouth is dropped.
Yes - experienced the Void, Nothingness, the Vacuum, the Night of Brahman, I later
heard it called, before anything was created.
....................
For those that don't sit in meditation - and have NO idea about any of this or how on earth to get to this 'place'...what is he talking about!?
May I suggest something anyone could do - walking, typing, driving...
Be aware of Awareness...or What is it that is aware inside of you...what is it that is looking out of your eyes...what is this thing Pure Awareness?

Just a thought - gave me a headache the first time.

Prepare yourself for the coming astral journey of death by daily riding in the balloon of God-perception.
Through delusion you are perceiving yourself as a bundle of flesh and bones, which at best is a nest of troubles.
Meditate unceasingly, that you may quickly behold yourself as the Infinite Essence, free from every form of misery. ~Paramahansa's Guru's Guru

@ Miss H ~ yes, I understand what people earlier have said that a few minutes at most is what’s feasible or let us say,
offered but I was astonished myself at the long duration of this immersion.

As a matter of fact, if I may add, this awareness seems to be ‘trickling into’ my moment to moment waking state. Let’s wait and watch

Thank you.

In sharing that this place I discovered on the mat existed. I realise it was awakening me to build and integrate it as myself..I was sitting watching something on tv recently and I noticed it spontaneously arose and I felt it quite strongly.

My boss notices it when we are very busy at work. I tend to flow with my peacefulness/deeper grounded flow at the core moving me along and knowing (now) what the potential is in the way I’ve touched upon it, I think it’s a great reminder to breath and know it’s there when disturbed by the world..

Like all things the moment you try to grasp and stay in it, it often dissipates into movement of life..

I see it’s potential often..stirring me, sucking me in.. no pun intended..

An he is a good lengthy time frame.

I like those times where it’s more spontaneous through my day. That tells me there is a deeper integration moving through life itself in us. I think that’s more sustainable, as integration.

Swami Lakshmanjoo had said somewhere that we must get to a stage where with each breath the universe appears and disappears. This would kind of mean bilocating consciousness, both ‘here’ in duality and ’there’ in singularity.
