No left arm

I'm dreaming a lot at the moment but this one stood out - I dreamt that my left arm had been amputated - at the shoulder so I had no arm, not even a stump. It sort of hurt, I had pins and needles going down and I was very conscious that I had an arm that just simply wasn't there as I could feel it, sometimes I could see it even tho it wasn't there.

Couple questions: Are you right-handed or left-handed in your waking life? Do the general terms right and left have any meaning for you in waking consciousness?

I'm typically right handed, however, my left side is much stronger than my right - so I walk off my left leg, throw balls with my left hand and so on.

I equate the left side with my feminine, the right side with my masculine.

This may mean your "Feel" you left side or arm, more than the physical aspect of it. This also indicates you go with your feelings more and see with your feelings.

Seems like the left arm missing is about your feminine side. What is really interesting is that you felt your left arm was there in the dream much like people who experience "phantom limbs" after losing a limb. So maybe there is something not fully manifested within your feminine aspect, that is now making itself known to you?

Do you sense that you try to cut off the emotional side of you instead choosing to man up so to speak. As much as we can try and deny our emotions they will always be there causing us grief regardless if we try to cut them out. Your ability to nurture yourself may be lacking. A possible sign you need to show yourself more compassion.
