Normal to cry?

Hi everyone.

I have a question. Is it normal to cry during meditation? 3 times this has happened now. I feel a bit silly

It happens to me often, during my prayers, and the beginning of my meditation. I usually express on how I feel to the higher spirits. When I feel sad the energy seems to rise up to my heart, and I let it out, and cry like a baby.

Sometimes when I'm feeling good, and say something beautiful, I get this beautiful smile on my face that I can't take off, and start laughing.

I feel it's connecting with the spirits, and bonding a relationship with them.

Yep! it's normal, from my experience.

Thanks for asking this question I have been meditating for a couple weeks now and that is my big thing as well I get to a point were I have tears streaming down my face. I figured it was just all the built up emotion I have on a day to day being released because I don't express tears that often. Good luck on ur journey. Love and light.

I agree with K star for now, depending on what experiences I have that day have a large effect on the emotions expressed during meditation, also music can sometimes bring out a certain emotion, or maybe you are safe and ready to cry while meditating I have learned from my yoga teacher and my spiritual mother, to accept feelings that come, and learn from them, reflect once you are done your meditation, or maybe even the next day, and put intent on what you want to take out of that meditaion, also to WmB, I have started praying myself to the spirits, and suggesting that I am ready to communicate or understand, though I am waiting for a breakthrough, I will keep trying, I am excited and happy of concentrating on spirituality, best of emotions and connections within all of your meditations, to each of you

I find it wonderful to see new and seasoned mediators sharing space :):):):)

Meditation is the opposite of engaging life. It is a moment of surrender in which we are free to release, and will. Crying has nothing to do with shame. Shame is a program many were forced to swallow as a result of being sensitive and having the extraordinary capacity to feel; an empath.

In my later training I hit some old wounds and cried buckets on several occasions. My guides were trying to keep me grounded during this process.

In meditation all kinds of energies will surface. Some of these are historical impressions that arise in a charged state. Some impressions are guided into consciousness. Think of the mind as a pond in which you and the universe of spirit partake in.

The best part about meditation is you can change your game by tuning inward rather than outward. Meditation is in itself a healing process.

Have a great day!!
