The room or the dog? The dog was just sleeping, she just got back from a long walk. She was tired :p the dog has nothing to do with the picture.

I feel the owner of this room an old person probably in 60's has vanished without trace. The dog is still hopeful that one day he may come back .

Erm...are you asking us to sense the energy of the room, or to pick up on non-physical beings that might have taken up residence there?

woops, sorry. I was asking for both, but the reason i was asking has not come up yet. The main reason i was asking is because both my mom and i have seen a spirit in the room. but i also wanted to know if the room had negativity.

my next post, i promise, i'll write my experience down. I'm about to leave for work but will post after work. Thank you all for your responses :)

I don't claim to or think I have any "powers" or anything like that, and I just clicked on this thread by whim from the outer forum area, but when I looked at the picture I did get some sort of sensation.. so this is what

to me it feels like there was/is somebody who led a sort of destructive life and perhaps pitied themselves but also had a darker streak, like maybe just abuse of substances but maybe something deeper like anger issues or actual physical harm.. it seems like unresolved energies, like they are bitter, but I'd lean towards harmless now.. and relatively harmless in life if they were harmful.. something a bit ominous and resentful

well, I guess that's the best I can describe the feeling I got from looking at the room.. it's almost like a sort of excitable energy too, a little spooky..

I think it belongs to a guy who the night before had a good time........probably boozed up too......sad the way young fellers go on these days....

and I hope it isn't the op's bedroom.........if it is then its very pleasant looking ma'am!!

Haha, this is not my room. It is my parents bedroom.

First, I should start off by saying my grandparents owned this house before us. they were very unhappy together (this was during the 70's). they got a divorce. My mom thinks that their bad energy may be lingering.

the reason i posted this is because I was sleeping in there one night and an image of a man popped into my head. he was old, perhaps from the early 1900's. He gave me a stern look and i got the feeling of "get out" or "you're not wanted here." I told my mom my experience and she told me that she used to see the same face when she slept in that room when she was a kid. but the face was a little younger. I've always felt kind of weird going into that room.

So some of you were right, but no one sensed the man.

Hi, MyKind of Lullaby: I guess we kind of "failed" eh? Just kidding. I did not sense any bad energy - I zoomed into my sensitive self before I read any other posts so I wouldn't be influenced - I sensed it was a blessing; an extension of peace, a gentle manifestation of benevolence. But I was very curious about your take on it, and it looks like my sense was way off too. But I really appreciate you sharing this photo with your SF community!

@Mr.Whitmore: God, you make me laff! I always enjoy your posts - you bring such respectful and refreshing humour to so much. I think you should quit your job and be hired to go through all the "cranky" posts in SF and heal the conflicts and aggression with your light-hearted humour. I'm serious! But then, how would you pay your bills...?
