My mum talks to her plants, there's one plant she has had for 36 years. I have not bothered to look at that link, I will in a minute!

Plants are supposed to stay healthier longer if you talk to them and/or show them proper attentive care. I have to admit there does seem to be truth in it.

I always talk & sing to my plants & flowers , even my favourite tree hehe ^^! Ever since I've done that my tree feels even more comforting & soothing to sit under♪
