Problem feeling my breath during breath meditation
Hi
I have problem feeling my breath during breath meditation.
First i have a very blocked nose and sometimes it's running and can't feel the breath at the point of my nose while breathing.
Second i can't feel the breath in my stomach or chest when i sit up straight. I feel absolutely nothing when i sit up straight but if i just sit i can feel it.
I feel it slightly move through the intire body but get very distracted cause i don't feel it so strong and just feel frustrated that this is not the meditation for me but i want to do this breath meditation.
Any advice you could give me?
Does a person just watch the breath or observe how long, fast etc.
Thanks

Try instead to just monitor the other use and fall of your belly.

Yea, I think in the long run you'll be better off feeling the air as it comes and goes through the nose or under the nose. You say the nose is blocked, and I'm just wondering if this is due to a permanent ailment or if it is a temporary symptom.
