It felt 100% real and I was 100% conscious. If your thinking 'yer right' well I thought the same as you, but i thought ill try it I have nothing to lose. And what do you know, people werent lying about being completely conscious. It feels completely different from a dream at the time but its so extrordinary and unreal that after a week looking back on it you could mistake it for a dream.

thanks for your story.

I was only relaxing for 10-15 minutes before it happened. Happened very fast and smooth, unlike any other times i have tried. I did it at 3PM in the middle of the day, where as before I was doing it every night before I went to sleep. Which ment I was tired, so had more chance of falling asleep.

Any ideas that could hinder it..; the tip I would give is just try to forget the world. Clear your thoughts. Every time you breath out, imagine your body sinking, and slowly it will become more relaxed and you will become less aware of it. Things WILL annoy you, e.g. saliva, itches, cramps, noises. But you just have to shut off from them. Try and think about something else. Count everytime you breath, or concentrate on staring at the blackness..

I have only been trying 3 months, it wont take you long! Just stick at it & do it everyday.

It was very fast. I went from imagining I was flying through a forest to shooting up towards my ceiling. I didnt climb out my body or anything. I just floated upwards really fast. It was wierd.
