ahhh vivekenanda, one of his teachers Ramakrishna called him `the unsheathed sword of knowledge`.
The thing is we all get knowledge from those before us as did those two giants. It is the source of that knowledge ` the divine` that is ever unchanging.

These words of Shri . C. Rajagopalachari, the noted patriot and statesman-philosopher of India, indeed put in a nut-shell the tremendous contribution Swami Vivekananda has made to the national life of India and for the preservation of the Hindu religion.

But the Swami's greatness transcends all worldly achievements. These were only a very partial expression of his transcendent greatness, an idea of which we get from a vision his Great Master, Sri Ramakrishna, had about him even before the two met.

The book, "Inspired Talks", provides a record of Vivekinanda's insightful talks with his closest disciples. They go deeper than what can be absorbed by the masses.

It should be noted that some scholars believe that Swami did the whole of Hinduism a bit of a disservice because essentially only one school within Hinduism's vastness was presented. That has lead to a misunderstanding about Hinduism's vastness.

Which just goes to prove you can't convince all the people all the time.

I do too, but I also love most all the other schools of Hinduism equally or more. But then, I'm a Hindu ... suppose that's rather natural.
