The deal God made with Abraham was for all his generate to be saved. The calling of God is based on that.

Sorry that you forgot the very words that you wrote. You said cChristians are not in the picture(of salvation)…..now you admit that they are……a quick turnaround….

From the passing of the Apostles and the watering down of the church , in my view I see no significant callings of God in the 20th century, his calling has been muted. Not to be renewed until some future time. Of course believers will disagree with this, but I would like to see proof.

The unknown God wanted to keep himself under human radar, the amount of people who may know God compared to the world amount who don't is staggering proof he does not wish to be known. But he still loves each and every one of us.

Sorry, I believe that is a presumption.
Rather, another perspective or insight is He loves playing Hide and Seek...
after all, He has Eternity to play and watch the Cosmic Epic He created unfold.
It will take as long as it takes for each heart to open to Him.

Hi Miss H,
You are correct IMO. God desperately wants to know us because He loves us. Consider what it means whenever we say that we know someone. It implies and is understood that we have personally met them and have had some degree of interaction with them. I cannot claim to know God because I read some verse in the Bible……that can only be the words and observations of someone else. God desires a personal relationship with each of us. We are the ones that are hiding….just because we cannot leave our comfort zones and take the first steps…. |
