I've experienced this before and the reason was I was expending too much of my own energy.

My advice is not to push yourself too hard.

comforting,

Do you mind if I ask you what type of meditation are you doing?

Different types of meditation can have different affects on you.

Breath meditation can be done for a long time with no requirement for rest. Where as Mantra based medititation requires a rest period after each session.

Try after you meditate to rest anywhere from 5 to 20 minutes. A lot of purification is going. Another way of saying it is meditation makes your brain grow. Rest afterwards and see if that helps. Besides being tired if you notice anxiety during the day that could be another sign of not resting long enough after your sit.

Hope this helps
