In my opinion, no.
Chemically altering your brain is not a way to balance your chakras.

Hi I worked with a pranic healer several years back, when I was on Wellbutrin for depression. The healer found me to be very ungrounded, and added energy to my basic especially
To tell the truth, I feel much better in the last 3 years with pranic healing, yoga, diet & meditation, than I did with years of drugs, and am now drug-free (knock on wood ~~ tapping self on head :) )
But of course there are lots of individual factors at play and everybody's chemistry is different. Like, I wouldn't say DON'T do it if a doctor told you to...

I believe that health problems should be addressed from multiple perspectives. For some people, one of those methods may be with psychiatric medication, which may also be combined with pranic healing. Taking meds does not make you impure, less spiritual, or weak. Following your body's intuition is crucial when it comes to your treatment. Accept whatever medicines resonate with you, and avoid the ones that do not.

The question was 'Can and antidepressant help balance your chakras'
The answer is "No"...
In no way was I suggesting that a person not take prescription medication that they need.
However that kind of medication is not a chakra balancing agent.
