What is the difference?

What is the difference between being closed off and very distant from source energy and being as close as can be? Why such stark differences?

There is no difference. It is your state of mind. You can form words that appear that there is a way to reach the Source energy giving the illusion there is an actual separation but there isn't. A nice way to consciously form a connection to Source is to form a relationship with your I AM Presence(can be symbolized as your Father in Heaven) or give spiritual decrees and invocations. Invocations can be powerful and sometimes you really will feel the Presence of the light you invoke. Remember, find Source within yourself, and then you will see Source within all as you begin to realize it is all Source. Physical reality is but Source lowered in vibration until it gives the observance of what appears to be a separate reality. Which is normal since we chose to have an experience like that.

My connection to source is very weak and I don't think mental communication works out for me ad I don't ever get connection thru. Either way I heard source is most like your most like your parent in that wwhatever conception you have of authority gets transferred to source. Which explains a lot on my end as I haven't the best relationship with either of my parents.

It's a question only you can answer for yourself. The answer can only relate to your own experience because individually those of us serious about spiritual growth will grow closer to "the source" as new-ageists now seem to call the One True Creator, so the question becomes irrelevant once one awakens.

Compare the more sagacious of people here, those who have come to some realisation about Spirit, with yer Mrs/Me Average in the street who's lot is to grub about in the material world.

For me, for a long time, I knew I'd moved a long way from the beginning but didn't seem any closer to the end.
