from what I have read on affirmations, aren't you supposed to write it as if you already have what you are affirming ?

so if you are writing ' I want ' ..... you will remain in the state of 'wanting' and never achieving/ receiving what it is you are wanting.

Change the words ' I want ' to ' I have' ? and watch it happen !!

or send a letter to Santa ! , tis the season, lol !

You might want to specify some things abut her like, kind, compassionate, music lover, loyal, monogamous, gentle, humorous, good house keeper, good cook, and so on.
Otherwise you could get a beautiful woman who's shallow, jealous, petty, a narcissist, creates dramas a every turn, leaves her stuff everywhere and can't cook, clean or do things for herself and so on.

I have words that I never use*...'want' is a newer one on the list.

I 'am' getting that job. So Be It. (This is an alternate if you can't
quite yet imagine that you 'have the job'.)...a good example.
Then, feel it, see it, be happy about it, imagine it, sit at the desk,
spend your paycheck in your mind!

These seemingly minor tweeks are SO important in dealing with the subconscious mind...
where everything comes from.
What the subconscious mind stores is the word 'want'....some future carrot out of reach in a
place that isn't even real...the future.

Newbies to LOA , please take it from me...this is true.

Adrienne, you know I have had a desire, a thing I asked for long ago....
each time I look for it...it is not there.
I chuckle.
I think it has been more than a year I have wanted this little thing.
My absolute favorite cup I broke.
It couldn't be found online anywhere...
Was never in any Thrift Store with the 100s of other cups...
it never appeared.
I thought, "I just don't put enough desire and emotion behind this."

BUT, I always smiled when it wasn't there...because I KNEW it was coming...it was on it's way...so what,
it isn't here today.
I had total calm, positive, confidence it was making it's way to me.

Well, this is my 6th morning of drinking out of that cup...and I have 2 now.

So what if something takes 6 months or 2 days...a key is never to doubt,
ever and to be happy it's materializing soon.
This, no past and future thing is newer to me to think about and hard to describe that there is this 'eternal now' thing....so be happy
'now' about that which we want...as if we have it already.
(And way back that was Jesus' instruction.)

I just love talking about how the Universe works...it just is made to work...no break downs...it is a clock

Last year around this time - September/October Spirit pointed out a solar eclipse was coming and to use it.
I was in a huge transition, life had again radically changed on me and I was packing up my household goods for storage with no idea where I was heading - just that a Chapter had closed.
The eclipse was one which brought energy for creating new beginnings in the coming year.
So I made a long and detailed two page list and put everything on it that I could think of having to do with Mind, Body and Spirit Connection, the circumstances I would be living in, what would be my joy and so on.
Having written it down and setting up a little alter out in the sun I sat crossed legged waiting for the eclipse to begin and dropped into meditation and released what was in the Now that didn't serve any longer and put in my Order to the Universe for the Next Now.

Yesterday I ran into that manifestation list done on that eclipse a year ago and WOW!! It's all come to pass - all Two Pages of it!

She would have to be spiritual

I just believe there are beautiful woman in the world who are a reflection of the Goddesses(Aphrodite/Isis/Muses)
