Prehnite spheres with Epidote

This is not a new Crystal for me.
A couple of days ago, I found a really good one and wanted to feel the energy right away, without any hesitation.

I had a strong detox effect, lots of sweating, some pain in joints and mind confusion. After 2 to 3 hours, I felt like reborn.
I know that Prehnite is powerful Crystal, but I didn't expect that kind of reaction.

Sounds like some pretty wicked stuff!!! ... lol I don't own that one, but it was one of the crystals that I thought about getting, but my crystal store didn't have it in a big enough size. When I was researching online, I had never even heard of a place that carries a Prehnite Sphere. But I know what you mean. It sounds like one of those crystals that might surprise a person with the type of energy that it has. I think that a lot of the green crystals are probably like that.

I am usually OK with green crystals but prehnite is something else. The first time I tried to use it I got quite nauseous and it took a long time for me to ground myself and feel better. Definitely not a stone to casually mess with, especially for beginners.

It is possible to find natural Prehnite/Epidote Spheres, sometimes this Crystals grow in spherical shapes. This particular Crystal is from Mali, intensive green color and kinda velvet like surface with a network of Epidote inclusions. It's about 3cm in diameter (little bit more then 1 inch). I also have bigger slices, and I worked with them, too, but this little wicked one pushed me beyond any expectation :)

I agree with you that green crystals could be tricky. I already know that I must stay away from Malachite, quite dangerous for me and my other crystals.
I'm also quite cautious with Moldavite, but never had any negative experience.

The thing is that I am not a beginner, and I already have some Prehnite/Epidote and worked with them before, but never had this kind of reaction. It proves to me that even same kind of crystals can have different influence. A good lesson to be learned.
I still feel really good.

Of course! I think that stones can "tell us" when we are not ready or do not need to use their power, or when they need to be cleansed. Negative reactions are one way of expressing it.

eek! I'm a fairly new user to crystals and recently acquired a beautiful prehnite crystal on my second visit to my local metaphysics shop. I was drawn to it for its beauty. I've had it for a week now and I am OBSESSED with it! I carry it almost everywhere with me! I didn't feel any kind of detox or negative feelings since I've had it, but I have had many "psychic" like moments. Nothing big, so still trying to figure out if its just a coincidence. Maybe I really needed this little beauty!

I really can understand your obsession with Prehnite :) Since it happened to me, I continued to work with Prehnite and didn't have any strong reaction again. I'm obsessed, too :)
I heard it's a very good for precognition and other "psychic" things.
