I had an outer body experience (OBE) last year

one day last year I had a really bad day, Two nights later i had a dream about a famous athlete, he isn't that famous so you may not know him, and in the dream we were standing close and We stood staring at each other for a few seconds. then i began to feel falling and spinning, i looked up and i could see him looking down on me. He wasn't smiling but I could sense the kindness coming from him. In a matter of seconds i felt like a smack, and i instantly woke up my heart was racing and i felt very surprised at everything that had just happened but my first thought was the knowledge that he had just died, and i felt an amazing feeling of love much stronger than human love. I woke up the next morning and had forgotten about the dream and read online that he had died then i remembered it. I thought for some reason unknown he has visited me, and I am a very religious catholic so I believed in the afterlife before, but now I had actual proof it was amazing. I went on to have the worst 2014 imaginable. I went through a bad breakup and became depressed for months. This went on and off until march 2015. Only then did i find out about astral projection, i read other peoples stories and knew i wasnt alone. I found out more about this athlete and found out he too was a devout christian and battled depression for years. I never met this athlete in person and i feel very special that he chose to visit me on the night he died. If any experts this subject has more info Id be grateful.

Amazing story! Something similar happened to me with Elvis Presley, about two years ago he came to me in a dream, I couldn't tell you till this day what the dream was about, all I know is when I woke up the next morning, he was on my mind heavily, mind you Elvis has been dead 38 years, I wasnt a fan of his before his death, I was only eight years old when he died, but now since he came to me in that dream, I have started a spiritual awakening, and he very often comes to me in my dreams, he is so amazing, and till this day I am searching for answers as to why did he come to ME??

I think sometimes the spiritual beings use someone that you know or familiar with so it's easier for you to understand or figure out later on. Why or how did the athlete die? Could it be related to depression? The way to understand it is to pay attention to your intuition as the answer is the first hunch you feel upon waking up. Or the answer can come during the time when you're relaxed and focus.
