Movie script exercise

Trying to keep up with the characters and the plot in this script is worse that watching Vera, lol.

Queen of Wands reversed, 6 of Wands

Alex was just bolting for the door, earring in pocket, when his mobile rang. It was his mother, Suzanna. To say he didn't get on with her would be an understatement. They had a falling out some years ago, after his father gave his younger brother, Marcus, a promotion over Alex. His mother always viewed Marcus as a somewhat precious child. It had always narked Alex that Marcus never had to work for anything in his life - everything seemed to be handed to him on a plate.

I'm going to have to either re-read this entire post, or write down the characters ... before I totally confuse myself ...

Character list so far:

Alex the protagonist, son of wealthy business owner.
Celeste young widow, mother of abandoned young son, destitute addict and Alex's love interest and ex mistress of Bob to whom she had an unplanned pregnancy.
Freya Alex's sister, passionate, socially aware activist, wealthy widow of Bob
Bob Hart deceased corporate lawyer, married to Freya, had brief affair with Celeste resulting in an unplanned pregnancy.
Suzanna mother of Alex, Freya and Marcus, recently widowed.
Marcus brother to Alex and Freya, son of Suzanna, spoilt and made favourite child by his mother.

Hope that helps. It leaves it wide open for who the murderer is though.....and Death will probably show up more than once

He grabbed a taxi and head home, for a few hours kip. It was pointless though, there was too much going through his mind to sleep.

Freya enjoyed the freedom her financial status gave her, allowing her to immerse herself in her projects.
