I don't think it's just disembodied voices we should be concerned about! Never take ANYONE's words at face value, that's my experience!
One thing I'll say for my disembodied voices is they're the first to say 'make up your own mind.' :) |

I have spoken to Archangel Gabriel in lucid dreams in which he very much portrayed himself as male.
I've read a lot about angels, and worked with many angels, and have always thought from my knowledge and understanding that angels are androgynous - they are a balance of male and female.
They can appear as either / or / neither - they are shape-shifters. Essentially they are columns of light.
Some angels appear more as male, such as Archangel Michael, or female, such as Archangel Ariel. Some angels will appear to some as male and some as female depending on the messages, energies needed and frame of reference of the person they are working with. Archangel Gabriel, in my experience, is one of these.
