I've had an energetic 'home' I've traveled to all my life - always very unearthly, very very inexpressible through words - and this song captures it perfectly. It could just be the picture illustrated by the lyrics, but the alignment of that with the instrumental always brings me to the same energy/vibration; just finally with (what I know is only one form of) its physical expression.
It's an island, dense with palm trees and surrounded like an inlet. The amount of sand pales in comparison to the rainforest behind it. Everything, genuinely everything, is bathed in dark - yet somehow light - blue; like it's midnight and the moon is shining so brightly, the dark sky has to brighten in response. Only there's no moon to be seen. The clouds
look like they're looming, but
feel like they're hovering - whatever ominous appearance they have is offset by a really strange calm. There's a thunderstorm brewing in them, and it's the moment just before it strikes. Nothing about this is normal, though. There's a huge natural phenomena about to occur... one that's typical here, but by Earth means, is anything but.
This may entirely be some other factor in my life creating this impression, but! I keep feeling and hearing that it's 'not from here, it's from somewhere else, somewhere you've lived before'... Just thought I'd take the chance and see if anyone else recognizes a feeling or a place like this.
