when you die do you have to go on the otherside can you stay on Earth

Mark, you seem to have some very developed belief systems about death already. Could you share them a bit so we'll have some context in which to answer the question?

MY belief is when you die you go on the otherside with everyone you knew in life family friends etc. |

That is what happens, you go on through to the spirit world, but you are still aware of what happens to friends and loved ones on the earth plane.
Is there some special reason we can help you with as to why, if I've understood you correctly, you want to stay on the earth plane.
The earth plane for all its wonder is but a pale reflection of the beauties of the spirit world!

My belief is that death is only slightly more radical a change than puberty. That "you" cease to exist when "you" die. You, as I've used the word in parentheticals, refers to your ego-state. |

The otherside is just a thin veil away from this side. for some it is right out of reach, for others, it is so close they are able to communicate with those who have crossed the veil.

You can stay in the earth realm as long as you like. Many do, they want to stay close to their family either for control or love to them.
It is a planet of free will and you still have free will as long you are in the earth realm.

What's death like?
Hi guys I think this is interesting. I like to see the beliefs of different people. My belief is when we die we all go back to the ocean of love that we came from. Some call it god or the universe or source, doesn't matter what you call perfection to me. It's all the same place. I'm just not sure if we keep our individuality or not. I'm not sure if the ego is the one that feels the need for us as individuals to live forever. Maybe it's just the divine love in us that lasts forever. Whatever the answer I hope we all have a wonderful journey finding out.

Maybe if you can avoid the strong pull of what I call "the light". By your post I'm assuming you want to stay in the lower earth astral plane. You may though find you change your mind on death when you experience the other.
